Cumberland sausage is a variety of the food favourite that originated in the ancient county of Cumberland, England, now part of Cumbria. They are can often traditionally be very long, up to 21 inches, and sold rolled in a flat, circular coil, but more often they are sold the same size and shape as other sausages. Filled with coarsely chopped pork and black pepper, along with some delicate herbs and spices to give the product its traditional flavour, these versions are one of our most popular sausage choices.
