Whole Chicken


Chicken is economical, healthy and can be used in so many recipes that it is no wonder it is one of the nation’s favourite meats.  A simple roasted chicken, basted in its own juices and then served with roast potatoes, a selection of fresh vegetables and some gravy, is often declared the ideal family meal. Once cooked at eaten the bones can be boiled to make a good quality chicken stock which can then be the base of a soup or a casserole.
